CHOM5KY vs CHOMSKY— Art Direction/Design of the installations

My mandate was to revisit the art direction and design the onboarding (before the VR experience) and outboarding (after the VR experience) contextualization stations which include 4 panels. The texts are in both english and french. The stations are made with plywood with vinyl applied on all of it. Some acetates and transparent materials are also used to display content.

Onboarding : Visitors are given some insights about what they are about to experience : Who is Noam Chomsky? Why him? What could they ask the AI?. The stations are designed to elicit curiosity as the users are invited to interact with the

contextualization panels.

Outboarding : Visitors are invited to reflect on what they just experienced and learn more about the technological context (There is no algorithm for your mind.). This time is used by the docents to prepare the headsets and set up the space for the next group.
